The school believes that a student competes best and most meaningfully with himself or herself. The phobia of examination and comparison of marks with other students should not be allowed to destroy the potential and creativity of the child. Yet, regular tests and examinations are essential to prepare the child for future life and to enable diagnostic measures to be taken by the teachers. A cumulative record of the performance of each student is maintained. Parents are regularly informed about the students progress during the academic year. In addition to informal unit tests, three major exams (Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual) are conducted in August, November & April respectively. A student will have to secure 35% marks in the aggregate and a minimum of 33% in each subject to qualify in the final cumulative examination. All students should have at least 80% attendance to be eligible for appearing at the final examination.
